Vegan Strawberry Protein Smoothie

My go-to basic smoothie recipe made with nutritious, plant-based ingredients for a quick, tasty breakfast or snack. Play with different ingredients to make it your own, or add a handful of leafy greens to boost the health benefits even further!
- 1 cup frozen strawberries
- ½ frozen banana
- 1 cup non-dairy unsweetened plant milk (such as oat, almond, or soy)
- 1 scoop plant-based vanilla protein powder
- 1 pinch cinnamon
- 1 tbsp natural peanut butter
- ¼ - ½ cup water
Measure and add all of the ingredients to a blender. For the water, start out by adding 1/4 cup. Put the lid on the blender and blend until smooth.
Take off the lid and check for consistency. If too thick, add another 2 to 4 tablespoons of water. If too thin, add a couple ice cubes or frozen strawberries.
Pour in a tall glass and enjoy!
